Nicole Branz, soprano
Nicole Branz is a young dramatic soprano whose concerts have drawn much praise. She has been the recipient of several awards including assistantships, scholarships and talent grants.
A recent graduate of the University of Illinois with a Master in Music in Vocal Performance and Literature, she teaches privately and also at Millikin University in the Preparatory Division.
Nicole has specialized in English roles including Little Buttercup in HMS Pinafore, Katisha in The Mikado and Susanna Susannadonna in P.D.Q Bach’s opera The Abduction of Figaro. Most recently she appeared in Bernstein’s Mass and Puccini’s Madama Butterfly. She also has a growing repertoire in oratorio , including several Mozart works and Vivaldi’s Gloria.
Nicole has performed internationally in Italy as a participant in the Scuola Italia program where she studied Italian and performed in several concerts of scenes and arias.
